IQOS Iluma I Prime

The IQOS ILUMA i Prime is the top device in the ILUMA i range — the same SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEM as the rest of the line, in a larger body with a leather-effect finish. We hold six colours in Dubai, starting at AED 370.

If you are choosing between models, the i Prime is the largest and heaviest of the three. The i Standard is the middle option and the i One is a single all-in-one unit with no separate holder.

The four standard colours are identical apart from the finish. Electric Purple and the Remix edition are limited runs, which is why they sit above the standard price.

Which colour do people order most?

Black is the most ordered and the least likely to show marks. Garnet Red and Aspen Green are the two that get noticed. If you want something that will not be on every second table, the Electric Purple is the one — but limited editions do not restock once they are gone.

It will not take HEETS. HEETS are for IQOS 3 DUO, IQOS Originals and other blade holders. The packs look similar, so check before you order — send us a photo of your device on WhatsApp if you are not sure.

How to use it

1. Charge the pocket charger over USB-C.
2. Insert a TEREA stick into the holder.
3. It starts on its own — no button to hold.
4. Use it for about six minutes, then remove and dispose of the stick.
5. Recharge after roughly 20 sessions.

There is no blade inside, so nothing needs cleaning between sticks.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the i Prime and the older ILUMA PRIME?

The i Prime is the newer generation. Both use induction heating and take the same TEREA sticks. The older ILUMA PRIME kit is still available and usually costs a little more.

Does it need cleaning?

No. There is no blade, so no tobacco residue builds up inside. This is the main practical difference from IQOS 3 DUO and earlier models.

Can I use HEETS in it?

No. Only TEREA sticks work with any ILUMA device. HEETS need a blade holder.

Why is Electric Purple more expensive?

It is a limited edition. The device is the same inside as the AED 370 colours — you are paying for the finish and the limited run.

Do the international TEREA sticks work with it?

Yes, all of them. Indonesian, Kazakh, Swiss, UAE and Japanese cartons all fit any ILUMA i device. Only the flavour range and the price change.

How long does the battery last?

Around 20 sessions on a full charge, then recharge over USB-C.
